Born in Italy, raised in Naples, Paolo Ronga, brand founder and Creative Director, combines his passion for modern design with impeccable luxury craftsmanship to create timeless footwear with a twist. Since childhood he was fascinated by the colors and the smell of the skin that was breathe in the little artisanal uncle’s workshop. After attending the Second University of Naples in Industrial Design for Fashion, he made his first step as intern at Rossimoda with some of the most prestigious luxury brands such as Celine, DonnaKaran, Christian Lacroix.
It is with Trussardi that for a short time his passion for footwear gives way to leather goods, opening up a range of opportunities and collaborations with many brands that will lead him to work with some of the greatest Italian shoes designerIn 2019, after 12 years in the industry he launched his luxury footwear brand Paolo Ronga with the partnership of Antonino Cumbo: a synergy that unites creativity on the one hand, and thirty years of experience in credit, insurance and Italian trade on the other.
